What is drop stitch?
Drop stitch is the same technology used in inflatable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs). Thousands of threads join the inner and outer walls. When you pump it up, those threads pull tight and hold the walls flat, so the pool inflates rock-hard like a paddle board.
The result is a pool wall that feels firm like a hard pool, not the soft, bouncy ring of a typical blow-up pool.

Drop stitch is the construction used in inflatable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs). Thousands of threads link the inner and outer walls. When the wall is pumped up, the threads pull tight and the wall goes rock-hard, just like a paddle board.
Our pools have 15cm drop stitch walls with a 1.2mm PVC layer.
A layered wall
- Tough PVC outer layer: UV resistant and made to last.
- Drop stitch core: thousands of internal threads give the wall its strength and rigidity.
- Reinforced base layer: durable and puncture resistant.
Rigid and stable, with no steel frame
Once inflated, the walls stand up on their own and hold the pool's shape. There's no external metal frame and no hard top rails, just firm walls with soft inflatable edges. It looks and feels like a permanent pool.
Built for the sun
The heavy-duty, multi-layer PVC is UV resistant and made for strength and wear resistance. With no metal frame, there's nothing to rust, which matters in FNQ's humidity.
Quicker than a framed or hard pool
Framed pools mean metal frame assembly, lots of parts and a long build. A drop stitch pool is inflate, connect the filter and fill. IPOOLGO says the walls inflate in under 30 minutes. There's no digging, and at the end of the season it deflates and packs down small.
