1. About us

This store is run by Aurora Australis Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as Chemex Pools (ABN 40 475 986 812, ACN 649 563 324), 116 Edith St, Innisfail QLD 4860 ("we", "us"). By using this site or ordering from us, you agree to these terms.

2. Products and prices

We sell IPOOLGO drop stitch inflatable pool bundles (pool, pump and sand filter; ladders are included with 3m, 4m and 6m pools, and the 2m is step-in with no ladder). Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We try to make sure product descriptions, images and prices are accurate. If there is an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

3. Pre-orders

Pre-orders are paid in full when you order. The arrival date (currently mid-December) is an estimate and depends on our supplier and freight. If we can't supply your order or stock is significantly delayed, we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund. If you cancel for change of mind before collection or delivery, we will refund your full payment less any reasonable costs we have incurred, such as payment processing fees (see our Refund and Returns Policy). These terms do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Orders

An order is accepted once we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if a delivery address is outside our area or stock is unavailable). If we do, we will refund any payment in full.

5. Collection and delivery

Collection and delivery are covered by our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, road conditions, freight delays or other events outside our control.

6. Pool safety and your responsibilities

In Queensland, pools capable of holding 300mm or more of water need a compliant pool safety barrier and must be registered with the QBCC (Queensland pool safety register). This includes inflatable and portable pools. You are responsible for: - meeting pool fencing, registration and other local rules before filling the pool; - choosing a level, suitable site and setting up the pool as instructed; - supervising children at all times and keeping the water safe and clean.

7. Consumer guarantees and warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Each pool also has a 1-year manufacturer warranty and comes with a repair kit. See our Refund and Returns Policy for details.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by misuse, incorrect setup, or failure to follow instructions or safety laws. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Privacy

We use your personal information only to process orders, arrange collection or delivery, and provide support. We do not sell your information.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place when you order apply to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
